NFL Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Wednesday: Week 3

NFL Football Teams Wallpapers

Trevor Siemian – Siemian has thrown for at least 200 yards and two touchdowns in each of the first two weeks.  In fairness, the Chargers and Cowboys aren’t scaring anyone now, but the Broncos have one of the softest schedules for quarterbacks.  This includes the Jets and Colts in weeks 14 and 15.  He’s owned in less than 14% of ESPN fantasy leagues and is currently producing top-5 numbers.

Jay Cutler – With a juicy matchup against the Jets, Cutler can be picked up and streamed with confidence.  He’s also an excellent, cheap DFS option this week.

Running Back

Javorius Allen – “Buck” Allen has shown that he’s more than just a change-of-pace back when he had 21 carries on week 1.  In week 2, he displayed his versatility with 14 carries and 5 catches.  He’s owned in less than 10% of fantasy leagues and needs to be rostered in all PPR formats.

Chris Carson – Seahawks coach Pete Carol said that he wanted to see more of Carson.  See more of him he did.  Carson out-touched all other Seahawk backs on his way to a 20-93 line.

Chris Thompson – With an injury to Rob Kelly, Thompson needs to be owned in all leagues.  He exploded Sunday for 77 rushing yards and two TDs, and 3 catches for 29 yards.  He’s owned in less than 15% of leagues and has a juicy stretch of opponents coming up.

D’Onta Foreman – Foreman is our pick-up-and-stash option this week as Lamar Miller is clearly being run into the ground, once again.  Foreman is an explosive rookie with playmaking speed.  If Miller goes down, Foreman will be the hottest wire pick-up the following week.  Do yourself a favor…go ahead and snag him now.

Wide Receiver

Cooper Kupp – Cooper Kupp is for real.  He looks solid and has a very nice rapport developed with Jared Goff.  Kupp is available in 70% of leagues.

Mohamed Sanu – Sanu is currently leading the Falcons offense in catches through the first two weeks.  You read that right, Sanu has more catches than Julio!

Jermaine Kearse – Kearse is quietly putting up WR1 numbers for the Jets as he has generated at least 59 yards in each of the first two weeks and scored two TDs against the Raiders.  The Jets will be playing from behind every week, making Kearse a viable started in 12 team leagues.

Rashard Higgins – Recently promoted from the practice squad, Higgins is starting Sunday against the swiss cheese secondary of the Colts.  He is worth a flyer this week and is an excellent value in DFS.

Tight End

Charles Clay – As long as Tyrod Taylor is under center for the Bills, Clay will have fantasy value.  He regularly produces top-10 TE numbers and is owned in less than 5% of leagues.

Evan Engram – Engram looked solid Monday night against the Lions as the rookie TE turned in a 4-49-1 line.  He looks heavily involved in an offense that will likely be playing from behind a lot.  The offensive line is atrocious, which could cause Eli to check it down often to Engram.

As discussed in previous Youtube videos, after 7 years, we've decided to take some time off. My plan is to take a couple of months off and transition to making FantasyTeamAdvisors a Season-Long and DFS Fantasy Football website. Hopefully, you understand and we'll be back better than ever!
