NFL DFS Week 8
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings (FD: $8,400, DK: $7,600)
I love Rodgers in this spot this week against an awful Vikings’ defense. He faced this defense (albeit they had some defenders who are now hurt) in Week 1 where he completed 32 of 44 attempts for 364 yards and 4 TDs. Now he comes home to face this team and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he mirrors this performance and now he’ll have Davante Adams back who left that game hurt. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 375+ yards outta A-Rod this weekend. The caveat is the wind might play a factor a bit more than we’d like so make sure to keep an eye on that as the week goes on.
Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals (FD: $7,500, DK: $6,800)
I love Tannehill this week against the Bengals. Cincy is giving up 20.12 FPPG while Tannehill is averaging 20.79 FPPG. That matches up just amazingly and I think Tannehill will absolutely dominate since he has most of his weapons back and he could absolutely dominate. I’m looking to use Tannehill as a GPP pivot more so than a cash game option on either site this weekend.
Other QBs: Jimmy Garoppolo, Teddy Bridgewater, Baker Mayfield, Derek Carr, Joe Burrow, Carson Wentz, Justin Herbert
NFL DFS Week 8
Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (FD: $9,200, DK: $7,500)
If Cook is healthy and back this week after the BYE he has the best match-up of any RBs in Week 8. The Packers are giving up 29.38 FPPG to opposing RBs and have had a hard time stopping the run lately. The one problem I could see is the Vikings being behind early and often and then Cousins having to throw the ball more. Cook could catch some passes but in 5 games he only has 12 catches on 16 targets for 64 yards. He’s only averaging 12.8 Yds/GM in the air. Not sure I’ll be paying up for him in cash, but a nice GPP option if you make multiple lineups.
Melvin Gordon, Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers (FD: $6,700, DK: $5,600)
I like his price a little bit more over on DraftKings but I’ll have exposure to him on Fanduel as well. The Chargers’ defense is giving up 20.65 FPPG to RBs and Denver’s RBs are avearing 18.2 FPPG. If Lindsay is out again this week then Gordon makes an even better option. With the Chargers testing positive for COVID, having to travel to Denver, and Denver allowing some fans, this points to an advantage to Broncos’ that you might not think about. Gordon is 100% a GPP play though, wouldn’t trust him in cash.
Other RBs: Kareem Hunt, Tevin Coleman, Le’Veon Bell, La’Mical Perine, Gio Bernard, Jonathan Taylor, Josh Jacobs, Jamaal Williams
NFL DFS Week 8
Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings (FD: $9,100, DK: $8,800)
Even before I looked at the pricing on FD and saw that Adams was the highest-priced WR, I had him as our WR1 in our Week 8 WR Rankings. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams dominated last week and could this week in what might be under-owned affair. I say under-owned because it’s supposed to be super windy at this game and that could lean more towards the run game than passing. I would look to take a GB stack in GPPs just for that fact.
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals vs Tennessee Titans (FD: $6,000, DK: $5,600)
His price isn’t as high as others but he has delivered almost every game. He’s seen a minimum of 5 targets every game. On the season Higgins has 27 receptions on 43 targets with 410 yards and 3 TDs. Higgins is averaging 58.6 Yards per game and 15.2 yards per catch. I love this matchup as his ownership will most likely be lower than Tyler Boyd and even A.J. Green this weekend. I will for sure have more exposure to him at his price on DK than the others on the team.
Other WRs: Keenan Allen, Kendrick Bourne, Kenny Golladay, Rashard Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Cooper Kupp, Jarvis Landry, A.J. Brown, Brandon Aiyuk, Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, Diontae Johnson
NFL DFS Week 8
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,000)
As we have have stated week in and week out, Kittle is damn-near match-up proof every week. Some people playing are going to see last week he caught 5 of 7 targets for only 55 yards and 8 FP over on Fanduel. What some might not see is that the 49ers absolutely blew out the Patriots and Kittle got to “go home early from work” as he put it while being mic’d up. Seahawks struggle against WRs but they are also giving up only 6.27 FPPG per our Week 8 Match-Up Tool but I still absolutely love Kittle this weekend.
Trey Burton, Indianapolis Colts at Detroit Lions (FD: $5,300, DK: $3,500)
I like this play a bit more if Mo Alie-Cox is out this week. Burton is coming off of a game against Cincy where he caught 4 of 5 targets for 58 yards, 1 TD and 19.9 FD FP. In his 3 games this season he has 5, 6, and 5 targets. While The Lions given up the 3rd least amount of FPPG to TE, Burton makes a great GPP play this weekend.
Other TEs: Jonnu Smith, Jimmy Graham, Robert Tonyan, Dalton Schultz, Richard Rodgers, Darren Waller, Travis Kelce, Jared Cook

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
