NFL DFS Week 6
Kirk Cousins vs Atlanta Falcons (FD: $7,100, DK: $6,100)
Talk about a perfect match-up for Cousins and the Vikings against the winless/coach-less/GM-less Atlanta Falcons. Cousins and the Vikings dominated the clock and ball against the Seahawks in the first half of Sunday Night Football. We all know how that turned out though. Cousins completed 27 of 39 passes (in the pouring rain) for 249 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, and 3 sacks in week 5. He now gets a Falcons’ defense that gives up the most amount of FPPG to the opposing QBs.
Ben Roethlisberger vs Cleveland Browns (FD: $7,600, DK: $)
This is another match-up that I absolutely LOVE in week 6. Big Ben is coming off nice week against the Eagles’ terrible defense. He now gets to face a Cleveland defense that was able to handle Philip Rivers and his noodle arm. If you read our write up last week you knew we were big on Chase Claypool and Ben and they didn’t disappoint. I’m going back to the well with Ben and most-likely Claypool as well this week.
Ryan Fitzpatrick vs New York Jets (FD: $7,400, DK: $5,900)
The only game he has struggled was week 1 against a very tough Patriots’ defense. Since then he has thrown over 300 yards in back to back weeks and now gets to face a Jets’ defense that gives up an average of 29.4 points a game. The Jets have also given up 19 TDs through 5 games and Fitzpatrick could be in store for another nice DFS outing for us.
Other QBs: Aaron Rodgers (FD: $8,400, DK: $7,500), Deshaun Watson (FD: $8,200, DK: $7,000), Matthew Stafford (FD: $7,300, DK: $6,300), Ryan Tannehill (FD: $7,300, DK: $5,900), Daniel Jones (FD: $6,700, DK: 5,400), Gardner Minshew (FD: $7,200, DK: $6,400), Carson Wentz (FD: $7,000, DK: $5,600)
NFL DFS Week 6
Derrick Henry vs Houston Texans (FD: $9,000, DK: $7,300)
The one knock I’ll give Henry is he just played on Tuesday night so it’s a quick turnaround but still absolutely love him this week against a Texans’ defense that is currently giving up an average of 27.45 FPPG to opposing RBs. He’s not really involved in the passing game as much so his PPR scoring on DK makes him a little bit better on FD even at $9k. He’s a safe cash option but I would probably look to save some money and go with some cheaper options for large-field GPPs.
David Montgomery at Carolina Panthers (FD: $5,900, DK: $5,800)
The one knock I’ll give Montgomery (besides his QBs) is that he has back to back games with only 10 rushing attempts. He did make up for that with 8 targets in Week 5 and 6 targets in week 4. He now gets the best match-up for all RBs according to our Match-Up Tool against the Carolina Panthers that just got dominated by Todd Gurley. Montgomery is averaging 49.4 yards per game on the ground and 24.8 yards per game in the air. I’m actually a little bit surprised he’s sub-$6k on both Fanduel and DraftKings this weekend.
Other RBs: James Robinson (FD: $6,500, DK: $6,800), Ronald Jones (FD: $5,800, DK: $6,000), Myles Gaskin (FD: $5,700, DK: $5,400), Ezekiel Elliott (FD: $9,500, DK: $8,100), Todd Gurley (FD: $6,800, DK: $6,300), Mike Davis (FD: $7,500, DK: $7,000), Alexander Mattison (FD: $7,000, DK: $7,200), Aaron Jones (FD: $8,500, DK: $7,600), Chase Edmonds (FD: $6,000, DK: $5,200)
NFL DFS Week 5
Adam Thielen vs Atlanta Falcons (FD: $7,400, DK: $7,300)
I absolutely love Thielen this week against the Falcons’ secondary that gives up an average of 34.98 FPPG to opposing WRs. You could save some money and go Justin Jefferson here but I think even both of these guys could easily pay off their price tags in this prime-time game. I LOVE a Cousins/Thielen/Jefferson stack and possibly even throw in a Mattison pick as well.
DeAndre Hopkins at Dallas Cowboys (FD: $8,800, DK: $8,200)
Nuk gets the best match-up of all WRs this week when he faces the awful Cowboys’ secondary who are giving up an average of 39.08 FPPG to WRs this year. Hopkins leads in almost every category for WRs. He has 45 receptions on 53 Targets for 528 yards, 2 TDs and is averaging 105.6 YDs/GM which is the most of any WR who has played all 5 games this year. I absolutely LOVE him but you will be paying a pretty penny for him.
Chase Claypool vs Cleveland Browns (FD: $5,500, DK: $5,200)
I know, I know. I know what you’re thinking. We were all over him last week and 4 TDs absolutely dominated all of the lineups we had in him. Somehow he’s not even priced up as much as you would think on both the sites. The Browns are giving up the 2nd most FPPG to opposing WRs (38.96) and Claypool has the most yards and TDs of all of the Steelers WRs so far this year. As a Tournament play I don’t necessarily like this because I think his ownership is going to be through the roof but for cash I don’t mind at all. In tournaments you could probably pivot to Juju or even James Washington to get a leg up on the competition.
Other WRs: Justin Jefferson (FD: $5,900, DK: $6,000), Calvin Ridley (FD: $8,600, DK: $7,800), James Washington (FD: $4,800, DK: $4,200), Robby Anderson (FD: $6,500, DK: $6,300), Marquise Brown (FD: $6,300, DK: $6,500), Keelan Cole (FD: $5,600, DK: $4,900), Julio Jones (FD: $8,200, DK: $6,700), Kenny Golladay (FD: $7,200, DK: $6,200), Will Fuller (FD: $6,700, DK: $6,800)
NFL DFS Week 6
Travis Kelce at Buffalo Bills (FD: $7,900, DK: $7,200)
Kelce is the most expensive TE but he’s got the 2nd best match-up of all TEs and he’s coming off of aa 100+ yard game and 27.8 DK FP last weekend. The Bills just got humiliated by the Titans and the Chiefs are coming off of there loss to the Raiders in week 5. The Bills are giving up an average of 16.7 FPPG to TEs and it wouldn’t surprise me if Kelce leads all TEs in scoring this week.
Robert Tonyan Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Bucs (FD: $6,200, DK: $5,100)
With Davante Adams back for this game I think that will turn Tonyan’s ownership down a bit. I’m actually surprised he’s not higher priced on DK. The Bucs’ defense comes in only giving up 9.08 FPPG to TEs. The Bucs are going to have to finally cover a full arsenal of MVS, Adams, Tonyan, and the RBs. I would look at Tonyan for GPP and pay up for cash games for Kelce/Andrews/Kittle.
Other TEs: Mark Andrews (FD: $7,600, DK: $6,500), George Kittle (FD: $6,900, DK: $6,800), Mike Gesicki (FD: $5,600, DK: $5,500), Kyle Rudolph (FD: $4,500, DK: $3,700), Evan Engram (FD: $5,600, DK: $4,900)

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
