NFL DFS Week 12 Thanksgiving Day Slate

NFL DFS Week 12 Thanksgiving Day Slate is upon us. Unlike other years, the match-ups and opposing QBs aren’t as exciting as they could be.

Thanksgiving is a day for eating Turkey, and playing fantasy football. We have a nice 3 game slate to look at this week. This article is going to break down each position and which plays we like the most and how we will construct our NFL DFS Week 12 lineups on a small slate.

NFL DFS Week 12

Taking our match-up tool, we compiled all of the stats you need for this 3 game slate. I’ve filtered this by defenses giving up the most amount of fantasy points. As you can see, the Cowboys’ defense give up the most amount of Fantasy Points to opposing QBs. That lands us with Alex Smith who has only been in 4 games this year. Just because it’s showing Alex Smith first, doesn’t mean he’s the one you need to go with. I absolutely love Deshaun Watson myself and pair him up with both Fuller and Cooks and maybe even Duke Johnson over on DraftKings.

Duke Johnson comes in with the best match-up of all RBs on Thanksgiving as the Lion’s defense is giving up 31.63 FPPG to opposing RBs. I love him a little more over on DK where you’re going to get some bonus for PPR.

D’Andre Swift missed week 11 and the Lions’ offense was shut out against an XFL QB in Carolina. If that’s not a testament to what Swift brings to the table then I don’t know what is. If he’s in there, I LOVE Swift this week.

Wide Receivers

As you can see above, Washington has the best WR match-up as Dallas is giving up an average of 37.87 FPPG to opposing WRs. The obvious ownership will go to McLaurin but you could sneak in some Steven Sims Jr on GPPs/Tournies to be different from the pack. Looking into the Lions, Kenny Golladay hasn’t been active lately so see if he will be in, if he’s out then we could bee looking at Marvin Jones as the top option in Detroit IF Matthew Stafford decides to show up along with the offense unlike in week 11.

With the Ravens losing players to COVID (all RBs besides Gus Edwards) they could be leaning on the pass since the Steelers’ D-Line are fantastic at containing the run, but Lamar just doesn’t pass enough lately and it’s a scary match-up. Would be leaning towards Steelers WRs over Ravens in that game.

The Cowboys’ WRs could be sneaky as they might be lower-owned seeing as how Washington has been fanastic against the pass but this being a 3 game slate I would expect ownership to be high on most players and we could see a lot of splitting of prizes on both Fanduel and DraftKings for NFL Week 12.

Tight Ends

Honestly with the TE spot it’s hard to go wrong with anyone on this list besides trying to decide who will get the passes in Houston. I would lean Fells over Akins but both are GPP options. Andrews could be sneaky but it really depends if Lamar will even toss the ball his way this week. Logan Thomas is sticking out to me more than the others so I’ll have my fair share of him this week.

You can find the new and improved lineups here: NFL LINEUPS We are very proud to bring you tons of great info and lineups each week!

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
