NFL DFS Week 1

NFL DFS Week 1

NFL DFS Week 1

Lamar Jackson, BAL vs. CLE (FD: $9,300, DK: $8,100):

Jackson is about as safe as it gets at QB, averaging just shy of 30 DKFP last season. He averaged the same in a pair of matchups against the Browns last season. In each game last year  Jackson threw for three touchdowns against Cleveland last year and averaged almost 85 yards on the ground. Regardless of matchup, Jackson is always a high floor QB if you can afford him and should have no problem finding the gaps in the Browns’ defense and take a DUMP all over them. Queue the OBJ Jokes all season.

Russell Wilson, SEA at ATL (FD: $8,400, DK: $7,000)

Wilson kind of slowed down last season in the second half. His last game against ATL (20th Ranked DEF) last year he only threw the ball 20 times for 182 yards and 2 TD. This game currently has a total of 49 points and Seattle as only a -1.5 favorites. If this game stays close, Wilson might have to throw the ball more and I absolutely love pairing him up with Lockett/Metcalf this weekend.

Joe Burrow, CIN vs. LAC (FD: $6,600, DK: $5,800)

As the Number 1 pick this year there are huge expectations on Burrow and the Bengals. I will have some exposure to him at this price. Burrow will have A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins,  and the speedy John Ross to target in a match-up that now won’t feature Derwin James on the other side. This is a CINCY stack that might go under-owned and could help us bring home that bacon.

NFL DFS Week 1Ryan Fitzpatrick, MIA at NE (FDL $6,400, DK: $5,300)

Now listen, every so often we get Fitzmagick and this could be one of those times. He’s getting the nod as the starter and has had success against NE in the past. Hell, last year in Week 17 he threw for 320 yards and a TD against the number 1 defense in the Patriots. The Pats have lost some key players to COVID opting out and now Fitpatrick gets to pick them apart. I’m not saying the Dolphins will win this game, but he’s so cheap that you should take a flier on him if you are one that makes multiple lineups.

Other QBs: Cam Newton (FD: $7,400, DK: $6,100), Dwayne Haskins (FD: $6,500, DK: $5,000), Philip Rivers (FD: $7,100, DK: $6,000)

NFL DFS Week 1

NFL DFS Week 1

Christian McCaffrey, CAR vs. LV (FD: $10,000, DK$10,000)

CMC is THE chalk play that you’ll want to roster in cash, and have some exposure to in GPPs. The Raiders ranked well below average against RB last season, and CMC should see his usual 25+ touches. The change at QB makes zero difference here because Bridgewater can dump off the passes to him and he can easily shred this defense.

Josh Jacobs (FD: $8,200, DK: $6,800)

Jacobs comes into this season after rushing 242 times for 1,150 yards and 7 rushing touchdowns. He tacked on 20 receptions on 27 targets and 166 receiving yards. Coming into 2020, the Raiders really don’t have much in the receiving corps and that could mean HUGE things this week. Jacobs gets to face the Panthers’ last-ranked defense and he could feast. Jacobs didn’t get to face this team last year but I’m loving this match-up and he’s our #1 RB according to the MATCH-UP Tool.

NFL DFS Week 1

Antonio Gibson, WAS vs. PHI (FD: $4,600, DK: $4,000)

This will most likely be the chalkiest of chalk plays of the week 1 slate. The reasoning is because he was priced so far down when pricing came out. Since the pricing was released, the RedSkins dropped Guice and Adrian Peterson. He’s going up against a banged up Philly Defense that ranked 5th last year against the run. This is only a GPP play for me, but being so cheap we can pay up at other positions and hopefully bring home the bacon.

Other RBs: De’Andre Swift (FD: $5,100, $4,900), Zack Moss (FD: FD: $4,800, $4,400)

NFL DFS Week 1

Michael Thomas, NO vs. TB (FD: $8,800, DK: $9,000)

Thomas is questionably the best WR in the game today and he gets to face a DEF that gave up the most amount of FP to WRs last year. In his first start against TB last year Thomas went off for 11 catches on 13 targets for 182 Yards and 2 TD along with 35.7 Fanduel FP. With the addition to Brady and other pieces on the Bucs this game could be a shootout and you’re going to want to have exposure to a Brees/Thomas match-up in week 1.

Chris Godwin, TB at NO (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,100)

I absolutely think you need to stack this game between both NO and TB. If this turns into a shootout, Godwin could come away with a ton of FP. In 2 games last year against NO Godwin had 10 receptions for 177 yards in two games. Remember his QB threw the most amount of INTs in a season so just imagine the possibilities with the GOAT in a shootout. Lock and load.

Other WRs: DK Metcalf (FD: $6,400, DK: $5,800), A.J. Green (FD: $6,200, DK: $5,700), Emmanuel Sanders (FD: $5,600, DK: $5,700), DeSean Jackson (FD: $5,700, DK: $4,900)

NFL DFS Week 1

George Kittle, SF vs. ARI (FD: $8,000, DK: $7,200)

Kittle is a stud. The 49ers are DECIMATED at the WR position and if they want to stay competitive they have to throw the ball and George could be in store for a fantastic game. The Cardinals gave up the most amount of FP per game to TEs and everything lines up fantastic for Kittle. In his lone start last year against the Cardinals Kittle caught 6 of 8 targets for 79 yards, 1 TD, and 16.9 FP on Fanduel. Something similar or even better could happen with the lack of receiving depth on Sunday.

Hayden Hurst, ATL vs. SEA (FD: $5,200, $4,300)

Hurst will most likely be one of the most popular value picks this week at the TE position. Hurst comes into this offense being the replacement to Austin Hooper who absolutely dominated last year for Atlanta. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hurst gets 10+ targets in this game and can capitalize on it. Last year he didn’t really get many looks seeing as how he was playing behind Mark Andrews but 2020 is his year to shine.

Other TEs: Ian Thomas (FD: $5,100, DK: $3,400), Zack Ertz (FD: $6,600, DK: $5,800), Jared Cook (FD: $5,900, DK: $5,500)

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon. Referral Link    use PROMO CODE: fantasyteamadvisors
