I don’t necessarily LOVE Brett Anderson, but he has a fantastic match-up against a very bad Pittsburgh Pirates team that he has had success against in the past. While he hasn’t struck out a ton of them, he has held them to only a .118 BA. He would be more of a GPP-type pitcher for us on this large slate.

Let me start off by saying that the Pirates have made it clear that they will try to trade Tyler Anderson by Friday. That makes this pick one to monitor as he could very well be scrapped and traded before and/or after lock. If he starts though, he has a match-up against a Brewers team that he has had success against in the past. He would be a contrarian cash option, but I don’t mind that at all at his price on both Fanduel and DraftKings.

Love me some Waino tonight against a very mediocre Indians/Guardians team. He doesn’t face AL teams much but has had 48 PA against them as you can see and he has struck out 27.1% and held them to a .136 BA. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wainwright go out there for 6-7 innings with 6-7 Ks and be a cheaper option for your lineups tonight if you build correctly around him.

I go into the details a bit more in the above Youtube Video but you should know we love us some Maeda on this slate. Gets to face a bad Tigers team that he has been able to strike out at a 32.7% clip and he makes sense while giving up only a .232 BA in 104 Plate Appearances against the Tigers. The one downside is that the Twins are even worse than Detroit so run support, and those extra FP for wins, could be compromised and be the downfall of taking Maeda if he doesn’t get us at least 7 strikeouts in this game.

Other Pitchers To Consider: Spenser Watkins, Sandy Alcantara, Jordan Montgomery, Adbert Alzolay,

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
