It’s Waiver Wire Wednesday (on Tuesday)! It’s that special time of the week that can make – or break – your seasons. Nothing is more satisfying than landing that up-and-comer, that injury replacement or that breakout stud from the previous week. On the other hand, nothing is more infuriating than the team immediately ahead of you on the waiver wire list snagging that player you had your eyes on. Here at DailyRotoHelp.com, we’ll give you the tools you need to own the waiver wire and your daily/season-long leagues.
Slow week on the waiver wire this week. See below for who we’re targeting for week 9 and beyond!
Dak Prescott – Prescott is a viable starter for the rest of the season yet he’s STILL available in nearly 40% of fantasy leagues. The Cowboys have a relatively soft schedule for the remained of 2016 including this weekend on the road against Cleveland. Take advantage.
Case Keenum – Keenum is about as boom-or-bust as it gets as, other than week 7, he’s either thrown for multiple touchdowns or he’s thrown for 0 touchdowns. Lucky for Keenum and the Rams, The Panthers and their awful secondary travels to St. Louis to take on the Rams. He’s worth a flyer if you’re desperate.
Josh McCown – McCown and the Browns are at home this weekend against the Cowboys. The Cowboys just lost two key members of their secondary, Morris Claiborne and Barry Church, for extended periods of time. McCown could potentially have a field day and is worth rostering in DFS and season-long formats.
Charcandrick West – Jamal Charles was added to IR today with lingering problems with his surgically repaired knee. Spencer Ware left last Sunday’s contest with a concussion and remains in the concussion protocol. West is a must add in all formats and will receive a monster workload if Ware is forced to miss Sunday.
Robert Kelley – The new Redskins starter was a stud in London as he carried the rock 21 times for 87 yards and a score. He appears to have a firm hold of the position and will only surrender 3rd down work to teammate Chris Thompson. Add him in season-long formats.
Tim Hightower – Something is going on with Mark Ingram and Saints Coach Sean Payton. Ingram has been unproductive so far this year and fumbled early against the Seahawks on Sunday. He was benched and Hightower took over for a 26-102 line and he could potentially hold on to the job this week against the 49ers. The 49ers claim the worst run defense in the league. Whoever starts against them is primed for a big day.
J.J. Nelson – Nelson has supplanted Michael Floyd as the slot receiver in Arizona. He flashed in his increased role generating an 8-79-2 line and appears to have a solid chemistry with Carson Palmer. Nelson is a solid add in season-long formats, but the Cardinals are on a bye this week.
Eric Ebron – Ebron returned from a three-game absence and got right back to work in the Lions offense generating 14 fantasy points in PPR formats on a 7-79 day. He and Matthew Stafford are on the same page but have a difficult matchup against the league-leading Vikings defense. However, Jay Cutler and the Bears put up serious numbers against the Vikings on Monday Night Football.
Cameron Brate – We identified Brate as a season-long and DFS play last week and he rewarded us with a 3-22-1 line for 11 fantasy points in PPR formats. His usage has declined, but he remains on the TE1 bubble and a nice two-game stretch with Atlanta and Chicago traveling to Tampa Bay over the next two weeks.
