Fantasy Football Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Welcome to the 5th week of Waiver Wire Pickups for the 2018 season. As opposed to the previous 4 weeks, the injuries were calm, but the ones which hit were the bigger names. Tyler Eifert tore his ACL and is now out for the season. Evan Engram was hit with the injury bug dealing with his MCL which is listed as week to week but we could be looking at Rhett Ellison for a while. Leonard Fournette cannot be counted on as we saw this past week and last week so in this article we will find out who you should add in this week’s Waiver Wire.

Have you guys checked out yet? was able to take down $1,346 in the NFL Week 3 contests. We will be putting up a video at our Youtube page soon showing how we did it!

  1. Mitchell Trubisky- If you can find him on the waivers and you need a QB for one of your teams if a BYE is here, this is your guy. He’s coming off a career game that saw him throw 26 times with 19 completions, 354 yards and 6 TDs. As you can see, with a huge lead we didn’t need to see him throw much. On the season, Trubisky has completed 91 passes in 130 attempts. He comes into week 5 with 945 yards, 8 TDs and 3 INTs. He has a BYE this week so you might have a better chance to snag him.
  2. Joe Flacco- He’s coming into week 5 with a juicy match-up against a Brown’s defense that gave up 40+ points to Derek Carr and the Raiders. Flacco completed 28 of 42 passes for 363 yards and 2 TDs against the Steelers on SNF. He’s only owned in 25% of Yahoo leagues.
  3. Marcus Mariota
  4. Blake Bortles
  5. Jameis Winston

  1. Nyheim Hines

As discussed in previous Youtube videos, after 7 years, we've decided to take some time off. My plan is to take a couple of months off and transition to making FantasyTeamAdvisors a Season-Long and DFS Fantasy Football website. Hopefully, you understand and we'll be back better than ever!
