It’s Waiver Wire Wednesday (on Tuesday)! It’s that special time of the week that can make – or break – your seasons. Nothing is more satisfying than landing that up-and-comer, that injury replacement or that breakout stud from the previous week. On the other hand, nothing is more infuriating than the team immediately ahead of you on the waiver wire list snagging that player you had your eyes on. Here at DailyRotoHelp.com, we’ll give you the tools you need to own the waiver wire and your daily/season-long leagues.
Slow week on the waiver wire this week. See below for who we’re targeting for week 15 and beyond!
Robert Griffin III – In his first action since injuring his shoulder in week 1, RG3 barely passed the century mark against the Bengals at home. He did, however, rush for a touchdown, salvaging his fantasy day. It’s no secret, the Browns are awful. But they do have weapons on offense and RG3’s ability to run gives him some fantasy relevance, even if it is on the road against Buffalo.
Sam Bradford – Bradford’s floor is right around 16 fantasy points. The Vikings are at home this weekend against the Colts. Bradford should exceed his floor.
Matt Moore – Tannehill took a scary-looking shot to the knee Sunday against the Cardinals. Initial reports are that he avoided a serious injury, but will likely miss some time. Fire Moore up as a dart thrown in season-long and DFS.
Bryce Petty – I’m not advocating for Bryce Petty at this point, but the Jets are letting the rookie air it up at will. Whether it’s playing from behind, or seeing what the offense is capable of, Todd Bowles is letting Petty chuck it around to Anderson and Powell.
Kenneth Farrow – It sounds like Gordon has avoided serious injury, but will likely miss a week or two. If he does sit, snatch up Farrow as the likely starter. Ronnie Hillman is also in play here.
Christine Michael – Let’s face it, you could probably try out for the Packers running back job. Journeyman Christine Michael has bounced around all over the league, but looks to have settled in Green Bay. With injuries all over the place, he’s got an opportunity, once again, to win a permanent job.
Rex Burkhead – Playmakers AJ Green and Gio Bernard are down with injuries. Burkhead is handling passing down work, but remains 3rd or 4th on the target pecking order. If you’re dealing with injuries to the RB position in PPR formats, you could do worse than Burkhead.
Chris Hogan – The Patriots are a power-run team and Tom Brady can throw all over the field. With injuries to Gronk and Amendola, Hogan and the young Patriots receiving corps are all in play.
Malcolm Mitchell – see above.
Taylor Gabriel – Even if Julio and Sanu return from injury, Gabriel has established himself as a key cog in the Falcons offense. He’s scored six touchdowns in the last six games and is too quick to keep on the sidelines.
Dontrelle Inman – Over the last three weeks, Dontrelle Inman has tuned up opposing defenses with a 14-239-3TD line and is looking at a juicy matchup against the Raiders porous secondary. Take advantage.
