Here are the Hot and Cold players from for your NFL DFS Week 8 Lineups.

Russell Wilson – While struggling all this year, this may be the one opportunity for “It” to click. The Saints are averaging 293 yards passing and given up 2 TDs in 2 of the 3 games. Also opposing teams are averaging almost 40 points per game

Aaron Rodgers – Last week’s second half performance could be exactly what the Packers and Rodgers need. Short passing game as an extension of the running game with help the completion percentage and yardage

Jameis Winston – Oakland is giving up 30 points at home but more importantly is when Winston goes off he scores points. He has thrown 3 TDs or more in half of the games he has played

Carson Palmer – Palmer hasn’t thrown for more than 2 TDs since week 2. Panthers have a weak pass defense compared to their rushing however David Johnson is what this team wants to do and they will

Blake Bortles – The weekly Bortles is a disappointment that was called from the very beginning by us is on again. Going against a Top 10 pass defense and playing on Thursday just helps prove it this week

Dak Prescott – Prescott has been playing very good and Dez is expected to return to the team this week, but Eagles are the number 1 pass defense with a below average rush defense. More Zeke than Dak

Running Backs

Ezekiel Elliot – Eagles have the 17th ranked rush defense compared to the number 1 pass defense, prepare for the Cowboys give the ball a lot to Zeke to carry this offense

Devonta Freeman – We don’t know yet the extent of Tevin Coleman’s injury but plan on a lighter load for him and Freeman get the majority of the carries this week and going forward until Coleman is healthy

Christine Michael – The Saints are atrocious but Seattle may have to score to win this game and while the majority of the offense has been a disappointment, Michael has been a reliable RB1

Mark Ingram – Saints just have too many options on the field. He has now grown to a touchdown dependent running back……and oh yeah going against a top 10 rush defense

Jonathan Stewart – Going from a top 5 worst rush defense to a top 5 is a change and that’s what is happening when Stewart goes from the Saints to the Cardinals. Prepare for a tremendous drop off in production

Jordan Howard – Howard was a fantasy spark when Jeremy Langford went down, however his numbers have gone down and Kadeem Carey is getting more and more touches. Now they have to go against the Vikings yuck

Wide Receivers

Mike Evans – Averaging over 6 catches for 90 yards with a touchdown is impressive however going against the 2nd worst defense against wide receivers means look out for more

Deandre Hopkins – Ranking as the 35th wide receiver in fantasy this year has been disappointing but he is still the number 1 target and a top 5 talent going up against the Lions who are giving up the 7th most points to wide receivers

Brandon Marshall – Marshall has Fitzpatrick back but the bigger factor is the matchup. Brown are giving up a shade under 30 points a game, have given up at least 25 points every game, and QBs are averaging 285 yards and 2+ TDs a game

Tyrell Williams – The newest high upside wide out in fantasy is going up against the number 1 defense against wide receivers in fantasy. Williams has been unable to get more than 71 yards in 5 of his 7 games, take the under

Jeremy Maclin – Averaging 4.5 catches for 55.5 yards and only 1 touchdown this year is bad but it gets worst. The numbers are continuing down from the start of the season and going up against a top 5 defense in wide receiver scoring in fantasy

Kelvin Benjamin – Starting off the season in a massive way however Benjamin hasn’t continued on that pace. Benjamin hasn’t scored over 10 points in a non-ppr league in the last 4 weeks

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.

As discussed in previous Youtube videos, after 7 years, we've decided to take some time off. My plan is to take a couple of months off and transition to making FantasyTeamAdvisors a Season-Long and DFS Fantasy Football website. Hopefully, you understand and we'll be back better than ever!
