Here are the By The Number players from for your NFL DFS Week 5 Lineups.

Fantasy Football is easy, play the best guys and matchups. However, numbers can help us out to see trends in players or teams. Here is this weeks 4 stats that can help you in your quest at a championship

First Down

Julien Edelman – Without Tom Brady, Edelman has 19 catches for 196 yards and 0 TDs in 4 games. The last time he had a similar 4 game stretch was in weeks 5-8 in 2014. Expect the FU tour to increase Edelman’s stats

Second Down

Melvin Gordon – While “struggling” rushing the ball he still has had 20+ total touches the last 3 games. Raiders are averaging 20+ rushes a game against them and over 5 yards a carry

Third Down

Amari Cooper/Michael Crabtree – Crabtree has more Targets (37 – 35), more receptions (26-20), barely trailing in yards (308 to Cooper’s 318), and more touchdowns (4-0) What’s this mean? Trade high on Crabtree and try and get Cooper low

Fourth Down

Alshon Jeffrey – Odell, Amari, and Alshon all have similar yards (318, 317, 303) and Touchdowns (0,0,0) however Jeffrey has 40% of their targets and a new QB in the mix. Owners of these studs should be concerned but Jeffrey’s concerns are real

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
