Cookie has a fantastic match-up here against a terrible Tiger’s team. His numbers look great against them and his 30.8 K% is just fantastic for fantasy purposes. He’s coming off a so-so game against PIT but has hit 52 FP in 2 of his 4 starts and I love him for at least 40+ on this slate.
He’s looking like the Yu of old and dominating for us in his last couple of starts. His price is up there so he’s only really feasible in cash games because you’re not going to get the FP/$ that you need to take a GPP down, but in his 5 starts this season he has gotten 214 Fanduel FP already. His last game saw Darvish go 6 innings, 1 ER, 1 Walk, and 7 Ks. He has 34 K’s in 34 innings of work and could go under the radar as the White Sox have been MASHING this weekend.
At some point Bundy has to come back down to earth right? He comes into this game with 3 wins and a 2.48 ERA. He is coming off a bad start against the Giants and this should put people off him a bit. This is more of a tournament play than a cash play. Bundy has already faced the Athletics twice this season and he has 61 FP and 48 FP respectively. I like him here especially in a pitcher’s park and hoping to get the ownership leverage in this start.
This is another tournament option as the Cards are still a potent offense. Mahle has has moderate success against the Cards in his past, but don’t forget that this is not the normal season and literally anything can happen. So far this season, Mahle has gotten beat up by the Royals and Cubs but dominated the Indians. In that game Mahle went 6 innings, allowing only 1 hit, 2 walks, 6 Ks and 40 FP on Fanduel. He’s super cheap as well so he makes a terrific SP2 on DK as well as your GPP pitcher on Fanduel.
It seems like this weekend when I take a pitcher against the Giants, they destroy them. I guess I’m looking for more punishment because I’m looking at Weaver as another option. He’s had some success against them and love the 39% K rate from him. He comes in with a 9.16 ERA so he most likely will be overlooked. Would I trust him in cash? Absolutely no way in hell. He’s coming off a fantastic game against the A’s where Weaver went 5 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, 6 Ks and 1 ER for a total of 36 FD FP. I could see something similar to that and we could see his ownership be less than 10%.
This play is more of a “take a pitcher against Texas and get the strikeouts since the struggle against RHPs.” His numbers don’t jump out at me as he’s given up a .313 BA in 19 PA and only striking out 5.3% of the batters he’s faced. Dunn comes in SUPER cheap and another GPP pitcher. He’s coming off an ATROCIOUS outing against the Dodgers where he ended up with -9 FP on Fanduel. Yes, minus 9. The start before that was against this Texas team where he went 6 innings, giving up 7 hits, and only 2 strike outs. If he could get us at least 5 strikeouts and give up no more than 2 runs, we could see a fantastic value at a weak position on this slate today.

REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
