Fanduel Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Picks (9/25/16-9/26/16): NFL DFS Advice

Cam Newton – Cam rebounded from the beating he took against the Broncos to throw for 350 yards and 4 scores at home against the 49ers. He also rushed for another 37 yards in what was a great day for the Panthers starter. Next on deck is a tough Vikings squad that has kept Aaron Rogers and Marcus Mariota in check. Cam is expensive in both DraftKings and Fanduel, but he’s a solid option heading into week 3.

Andrew Luck – Luck is my number one quarterback heading into week 3 as the Chargers travel to Indy to take on the Colts. Luck’s thrown for 582 yards and 5 touchdowns over the first 2 weeks of the season and has a plus-plus matchup Sunday against the Chargers. His value takes a slight ding with Donte Moncrief out for the next couple of months, but Luck remains an elite QB option in all formats.

Carson Palmer – Palmer has been fantastic in the first two weeks of the season as he lit the Bucs and the Patriots up for a total of 575 yards and 5 touchdowns with no interceptions. He’s got another juicy matchup Sunday as the Cardinals travel to Buffalo to take on a Bills defense that ranks 24th against the pass. Palmer has several weapons at his disposal both on the outside and in the backfield. He should feast on Sunday.

Drew Brees – Brees came back to Earth slightly against Giants in week 2 after torching the Raiders for 423 yards and 4 scores. He compiled a 29/44 – 263 – 1 line against a much-improved Giants defense. The Saints are back in the Superdome in a prime-time Monday Night Football Matchup against the Falcons. Get Brees in your lineups in all formats.

Matt Ryan – Matt Ryan’s career is experiencing a bit of a resurgence as he’s topped 330 yards in each of the first 2 weeks of action, throwing at least 2 touchdowns in each. He’s spreading the ball all over to Julio Jones, Sanu, Freeman, Coleman and Tamme. He’s a very solid option Monday night at home against the Saints

Ryan Tannehill – Tannehill is cheap on both DraftKings and Fanduel. He’s got a plus-plus matchup against an awful Cleveland Browns defense that was just abused by Joe Flacco and the Ravens in Cleveland. Running back Arian Foster is out and backups Kenyan Drake and Jay Ajayi aren’t striking fear in anybody. Expect Tannehill to throw early and often.

Carson Wentz – Wentz has a difficult matchup at home against a tough Steelers defense, but Wentz has shown me enough in just 2 games to convince me that he’s a solid starting QB in the NFL. His ownership should be very low as other players will look to avoid the matchup. Throw him in a few of your GPPs this weekend.

Sam Bradford – I have a tough time believing that Bradford has turned the corner at this point in his career and become the Joe Montana to Stefon Diggs’ (9-182-1td) Jerry Rice, but it certainly appeared that way Sunday night as Bradford cut up the Packers for 286 yards on 22 of 31 passing. We’ll see, the Vikings will have their hands full as they travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers. If he continues to play at that level, Bradford may finally live up to the expectations placed on him as a former number 1 overall draft pick.

As discussed in previous Youtube videos, after 7 years, we've decided to take some time off. My plan is to take a couple of months off and transition to making FantasyTeamAdvisors a Season-Long and DFS Fantasy Football website. Hopefully, you understand and we'll be back better than ever!
