Daily Matchups for 4/24/2017
Pitchers To Target:
Zack Greinke- It’s not too often lately that we would suggest using Greinke but I actually like this match-up against Jhoulys Chacin and the Padres. The only downfall here is it’s in Coors Jr. (Chase Field) instead of Petco Park. Greinke faced these same Padres in his last start and the results are pretty damn good. 8 IP, 5 H, 1 BB, 6 SO, 1 ER, 1 QSTART and 43 FP.
Career vs Current Padres Roster
AVG: 0.225 [32 for 142], BABIP: 0.264, K%: 21.3, BB%: 5.2
FIP: 3.12 Strikeout: 32Groundout: 23 Flyout: 22Single: 19 Lineout: 11 Double:10 Pop Out: 9 Walk: 8Grounded Into DP: 4 Sac Bunt:3 Home Run: 3 Bunt Groundout: 3 Forceout: 2Fielders Choice Out: 2Strikeout – DP: 1 Hit By Pitch: 1Field Error: 1 Sac Fly: 1
Jason Vargas- I have absolutely no idea how Jason Vargas is doing what he is doing but he’s so far 3-0 with a .44 (!!!!) ERA and still only $8,500 on Fanduel. He’s had back to back amazing starts where he had 9 Ks, and 8 Ks to go along with 58 FP and 57 FP. He’s got a great match-up tonight against a very shaky White Sox offense and while although his numbers aren’t the very best against him, he’s been pitching way above his numbers. He’s gotta come back down to earth eventually but I’m not too sure that tonight is that night.
Career vs Current White Sox Roster
AVG: 0.283 [13 for 46], BABIP: 0.324, K%: 20.0, BB%: 8.0
FIP: 4.84 Strikeout: 10 Single: 8 Flyout: 7Groundout: 6 Pop Out: 4 Walk: 4 Lineout: 4Home Run: 2 Double: 2 Triple: 1 Grounded Into DP: 1 Fielders Choice: 1
Franciso Liriano- After a very, very shaky start against the Rays this season (-11 FP on Fanduel) Liriano has pitched like the person we thought he was. His start against BAL he had 48 FP but his start on 4/19 he had 40 FP but only pitched 5.1 innings. If he can go til the 7th inning against the Angels tonight, he should have some great numbers at a discounted price.
Career vs Current Angels Roster
AVG: 0.214 [24 for 112], BABIP: 0.265, K%: 22.7, BB%: 10.9
FIP: 3.54 Strikeout: 29 Groundout: 24 Single: 20Walk: 14 Flyout: 12 Lineout: 8 Grounded Into DP:7 Pop Out: 4 Home Run: 2 Field Error: 2Forceout: 2 Sac Bunt: 1 Double: 1 Sac Fly: 1Triple: 1
Amir Garrett- He’s really made a splash to start the season and has gone at least 6 innings in each of his first 3 starts. Garret comes into tonight’s match-up against the Brewers with 2 wins and a 1.83 ERA to match. He’s coming off his best start of the young season against the Orioles where he pitched 7 innings, giving up 7 hits, walking 1, 12 Ks, only 2 ERs and 55 FP on FD. I absolutely love him as cash or GPP option, SP1 or even SP2 on tonight’s small(ish) slate.
Other Pitching Options: Brett Anderson, Chris Archer
Batters To Target:
Adrian Gonzalez vs Matt Cain- 17 for 52 (.327 BA), 10 singles, 3 doubles, 4 HRs
Chris Davis vs Chris Archer- 6 for 22, (.273 BA), 1 single, 2 doubles, 3 HRs
Mike Napoli vs Phil Hughes- 6 for 21 (.286 BA), 4 singles, 2 HRs
Teams To Stack:
Rockies vs Joe Ross
Rangers vs Phil Hughes
Orioles vs Chris Archer

MLB DFS LINEUPS
REMEMBER: These are lineups we use, but feel free to pick and choose plays and make your own lineups. Don’t ALWAYS follow these as they don’t hit 100% of the time. We do use these but sometimes late scratches happen and it’s too late to update the lineup. Good luck and bring home the bacon.
