DraftKings and Fanduel Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Picks for NFL DFS Week 2
Fanduel Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Picks and NFL DFS Advice
Week 2 of the NFL regular season is here, bringing with it a full 12-game main slate on Sunday, Sept. 15th that kicks off at 1:00 pm ET.
Quarterbacks
Elite
Tom Brady @ Miami Dolphins
Brady is in a smash spots this week with his juicy match-up against the Dolphins. Normally, the Dolphins give Brady trouble in Miami and always seem to spoil the Patriots, but I don’t think we are going to have to worry about that. We saw Baltimore absolutely destroy Miami in Week 1 and the reports that came out from Sunday directly after the game that a number of Dolphins’ contacted their agents and asked to be traded. This should be a Brady-feast and he’s primed for a great game.
Patrick Mahomes @ Kansas City Chiefs
I’ll preface this by saying Mahomes did sustain a sprained ankle in the first half of the game on Sunday, and didn’t throw for much in the second half but that was because they were up so much. This game is the second highest Over/Under in Week 2 and I believe it could get all the way up there. Both of these defenses are known to give up some huge scores and should be the same again. Always want to pair up a Stud QB1 and WR1, with Hill out I feel Sammy Watkins will be highly owned and probably for good reasons.
Carson Wentz vs Atlanta Falcons
Wentz is coming off a week 1 stat line of 28 completions in 39 attempts for 313 yards and 3 TDs. Atlanta’s defense isn’t the best to stop elite QBs and wouldn’t be surprised if Wentz goes off yet again. You’re going to want to pair him up with DeSean Jackson who looks like he’s 21 again on the field.
Value
Derek Carr vs Kansas City Chiefs
I think this game will be a shootout and that’s why I’m recommending both of the QBs in this game. Carr is coming off a great week 1 against the Broncos’ secondary, and could be in store for another huge game against the Chiefs’ secondary. I honestly love Carr and paired up with Darren Waller. If stacking more than 1, you could add Jacobs and Tyrell Williams along with Carr.
Ben Roethlisberger vs Seattle Seahawks
You’re probably sitting here and reading this after the shit-sandwich Big Ben put up on Sunday Night Football. Couple that with facing a pretty stout Seahawks’ defense and this screams stay away. Big Ben’s home/road splits are just crazy and now that’s the exact reason he makes a terrific tournament play in Week 2. I would 100% pair him up with Juju and start getting ready to feast on some bacon.
Other QBs to target: Josh Rosen, Jared Goff, Lamar Jackson, Cam Newton, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan
