Fanduel Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Picks and NFL DFS Advice
Week 1 of the NFL regular season is here, bringing with it a full 12-game main slate on Sunday, Sept. 8, that kicks off at 1:00 pm ET.
Kirk Cousins, Vikings vs. Falcons
Cousins will be under-owned in Week 1 DFS. The Falcons’ defense gave up the most fantasy points to the Quarterback position last year and this game has one of the top 5 Over/Unders of the week. Last year Cousins threw for 30 TDs with a 70% catch rate. His price is just too low for a juicy match-up like this.
Russell Wilson, Seahawks vs Bengals
Wilson lost his best deep threat in Doug Baldwin when he chose to retire in the offseason. Wilson still has Tyler Lockett and a couple of running backs in Carson and Penny. I don’t expect much defense to be had in this game and could see Wilson put up some great numbers throwing and running the ball. He makes a great cash or tournament option for this first week.
Jimmy Garrapolo, Texans vs Saints
He obviously didn’t get to prove much last year as he went down early in the season with a torn ACL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave up the third most fantasy points to opposing QBs in 2018 and he could be a very boom or bust player for a tournament lineup for you this week. Look to get him in one of your lineups, if you’re trying to bring home the bacon that is.
Jameis Winston, Buccaneers vs. 49ers
Winston is under-priced on FanDuel compared to Draftkings and is in a terrific spot at home against the 49ers. He also forms a stack with one of the core WRs, Chris Godwin.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins vs Ravens
We’re only gonna get a few weeks of Fitzmagic this season so we need to take it when we can. This might be one of those weeks. This is a BOOM/BUST pick as the Ravens’ defense gave up the 5th fewest fantasy points to QBs last year. I would only go with this pick if you are one that makes multiple lineups, not just 1 cash and 1 tournament lineup.
Other QBs to target: Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Phillip Rivers, Mitchel Trubisky
