FanDuel & DraftKings DFS Infielders
Kendrys Morales- 1B vs. Doug Fister
Doug Fister shouldn’t be pitching for the Red Sox but we need to take advantage of this. Morales has had success with 7 hits in 22 ABs (.318 BA) with a single, 3 doubles, and 3 HRs. Couple that with a HR hitting park and we have a cheap option
Eric Hosmer- 1B vs. Ervin Santana
Hosmer is a pending free agent, and most of the time when people are in a contract year they play better than normal (except for Arrieta this season) and love this sneaky play of Hosmer. He had 8 hits in 26 ABs (.308 BA) with 3 singles, 2 doubles, and 3 HRs. I’m predicting a BOOMstick shot outta Hosmer tonight.
Trevor Story- SS vs. Robbie Ray
It’s true that he’s not having much of a stor’y’ied season. (doyougetit?) That and Robbie Ray is just a better pitcher on the road as well. No matter this game being played in Coors or Chase Field, home runs will happen. Story will for sure be off everyone’s radar and he will only be a viable GPP option but he’s had 4 hits in 8 ABs (.500) with 2 singles and 2 HRs. He’s cheap, and will allow you to pay up for pitching tonight!
FanDuel & DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Andrew McCutchen vs. Johnny Cueto
I like this play because we have Gerrit Cole going against the terrible Giant’s offense and I’m very excited with the success that Cutch has had against Cueto and his recent resurgence at the plate lately. McCutchen has 19 hits in 66 ABs (.288 BA) with 10 singles, 4 doubles, a triple and 4 HRs. He’s still relatively cheap and I think he’ll go under-owned.
Charlie Blackmon vs Robbie Ray
People are going to see this lefty/lefty match-up and probably try to shy away. Blackmon is extremely expensive but he’s had amazing at bats against Ray. Lifetime he’s 12 for 23 (.522 BA) with 9 singles, a triple, and 2 HRs with only 1 K. Fire him up and it should work wonders tonight.
Michael Brantley vs Anibal Sanchez
Let’s face it, Sanchez is done. He’s toast. El Fin. The End. He shouldn’t be out there pitching yet here he is. Brantley is a very cheap low-owned option and has 9 hits in 27 ABs (.333 BA) with 8 singles and a double. Very cheap while paying up for pitching tonight.
Indians vs Anibal Sanchez
Blue Jays vs Doug Fister
