Alsco Uniforms 500 NASCAR DFS Picks for Fanduel and DraftKings | Wednesday, May 27
Alsco Uniforms 500 NASCAR DFS is back tonight and we are excited to bring you some more Nascar DFS content. This will be the 4th Race (CUP) since returning on May 17th. They will once again be at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We had a wild finish to Sunday’s race as Jimmie Johnson came in second only to be disqualified after post-race inspection, causing DFS players to lose/gain money depending if you had him or not.

Some of you have never played NASCAR DFS growing up, and it really shows. In all seriousness, building lineups is a bit different between Fanduel and DraftKings and the other sports lineup constructions. On DraftKings, you need to find 2 drivers that are bound to get a ton of fantasy points (DOMINATORS) for you and you can build around with some solid drivers. On Fanduel, finding the best lineup consists of drivers that will lead laps, and even fastest laps will get you the fantasy points. These 2 different lineup constructions are primed to help you bring home that bacon.
***Pricing Notes: DK has gone bananas with pricing so the guys like Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Denny Hamlin are hard to get a ton of exposure to and still build a competitive lineup. You have a ton of great drivers starting 15-20 range which we can focus around.
Alex Bowman (FD: $12,200, DK: $8,700)
You have to love Bowman as an Early Dominator to rack up the fantasy points for you tonight. As he is starting 2nd, he could lead a ton of laps tonight and he’s only a +600 betting favorite. He finished in 19th place on Sunday at this track and led the most amount of laps in that race as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if he took the checkered flag and helped you bring home the bacon as well.
William Byron (FD: $10,700, DK: $8,500)
Per Rotowire Notes: “NASCAR is doing a field inversion similar to last week for Darlington’s double header. They are inverting the Top-20 finishers from the Coca-Cola 600 to set the starting grid for Wednesday night’s second-half of the Charlotte doubleheader. Byron had good speed, but finished 20th Sunday night. Hopefully, his luck will improve in the Alsco 500k. Rolling off first on the grid will certainly help the No. 24 team in their search for a better finish.” In the last 5 races here, Byron has finished 20th, 8th, 5th, 7th, and 17th respectively. He could be in the same lineup with Bowman for you and both get you the FP you need while having success over the past 5 times here. Love him to be in the winning lineup.
Martin Truex Jr (FD: $14,000, DK: $9,400)
On Sunday, Truex started the race in 8th and finished in 6th place while leading 87 of 405 laps. He has a ton of success at this track and there’s a reason he’s priced pretty damn high on FD. If you’re into making multiple lineups, I would try to get a combo of these 3 Dominators in the lineups tonight. Just remember, it’s a shorter race so Truex starting in 15th place could go either way, hopefully it goes UP!
Chase Elliot (FD: $13,000, DK: $9,700)
If you haven’t been paying attention, Elliot has been one of the hottest drivers so far this year. He has still yet to punch himself into victory lane but probably should have on Sunday instead of getting 4 new tires. For his price, I absolutely love his 19th starting position.
Ryan Blaney (FD: $10,400, DK: $7,900)
This might be one of my favorite plays on the entire slate. I think he’ll be under-owned while people pay up and love him starting 18th. He finished in 3rd place on Sunday at this exact track and while not leading any laps, he did end up with 90 FP on FD. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up leading some laps tonight to give us some of those sweet and tasty Fantasy Points.
Other Drivers: Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman, Daniel Suarez (GPP ONLY)
